The Laguna Niguel Military Support Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, supports the activities and events of the Military Support Committee that was formed in 2007. The Foundation provides support to the City’s three adopted military units – 1st US Marine Regiment, the USS Stockdale, and the 1st Assault Helicopter Battalion, 140th Army Aviation Regiment, National Guard.

Our Military Support efforts are divided into two separate entities: The Laguna Niguel Military Support Foundation and the Laguna Niguel Military Support Committee. The men and women of our armed forces and their families often face special challenges and needs. The Foundation is the financial arm of the support and assistance to past and present military members and specifically to the adopted units of the City of Laguna Niguel but is not associated with the City in any way. The Committee of the city is the functional arm of the support for adopted units of the City of Laguna Niguel that works closely with command-appointed liaisons from these units to determine their needs and how best to meet them. With the financial leadership and support of the Foundation, the Committee conducts a variety of fundraising activities to secure the funding and donations from the community and both The Foundation and The Committee rely heavily on the kindness and generosity of the public, individuals, businesses, and corporate sponsors to support events and activities throughout the year. The Foundation accepts donations on behalf of the Committee and disburses funds as needed to help accomplish the City Committee’s mission.

The men and women of our armed forces and their families often face special challenges and needs. The Foundation works closely with the Committee members and command-appointed liaisons from these units to meet the needs of the service members. The Foundation sponsors and supports a variety of fundraising activities and relies heavily on the kindness and generosity of the public, businesses, and corporate sponsors to support events and activities. We encourage donations and support from all sources for our military members.

The Laguna Niguel Military Support Foundation is a separate a California 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. The Foundation facilitates the City of Laguna Niguel Military Support Committee support for the activities, assistance and events in service to the three adopted military units as well as past and present service members and families living in Laguna Niguel. The Foundation accepts and manages donations on behalf of the Committee and disburses funds as needed to help accomplish the Committee’s mission.

The Board of Directors for the Foundation is made up of 5 professionals from the community, former military members and key leaders in the effort to serve our military and veteran populations. These individuals are appointed and serve at the pleasure of the Foundation. Currently, the following members serve on the Laguna Niguel Military Support Foundation’s Board of Directors:
