CORPORATE SPONSOR PROGRAM

The Laguna Niguel Military Support Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 entity, (Tax ID# 32-0241114) that supports our city adopted military units and Laguna Niguel veterans encourage every organization in the Laguna Niguel area to participate in the Sponsorship program initiative of the Military Support Committee and the City of Laguna Niguel. These sponsorships are a direct way city civilian members can impact the live of our Army, Navy and Marine adopted service members and their families. The Foundation provides financial support to the Military Support Committee.

The City of Laguna Niguel Military Support Committee (MSC) consists of citizen volunteers dedicated to assisting the needs of military service members and their families. The Committee volunteers work closely with command-appointed liaisons from the City’s three adopted military units:

  • The U.S.S. Stockdale: A guided missile destroyer home-ported in San Diego.
  • The 1st Marine Regimental Headquarters: Based on Camp Pendleton.
  • The 1st Assault Helicopter Battalion, 140th Aviation Regiment: A Black Hawk Combat Helicopter Battalion home based at the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos.

Each year, the MSC conducts a variety of fundraising activities that, amongst many things, enable the Committee to:

  • Assist with travel expenses when service members are injured or deceased.
  • Provide emergency funds for special medical and/or educational needs.
  • Sponsor welcome home receptions, holiday parties, and holiday toy drives.
  • Send care packages to deployed units.
  • Collect and assemble baby gifts to expectant mothers.
  • Create welcome home packages including linens, basic toiletries, and snacks.

Sponsorship opportunities are available year-round and are offered at multiple tiers, each providing varying levels of exposure for participating establishments and organizations. All sponsorships and/or cash donations are tax deductible (Tax ID# 32-0241114).
